Tokyo Rosenthal

Sunday, May 6th, 2012 8 p.m. $30
Stoltz Listening Room

Singer-songwriter Tokyo Rosenthal’s musical style has been described as rootsy Americana with a lot of Tex Mex, story telling, and even a little blues thrown in. It can also be called increasingly popular. His acclaimed fourth album from last year, Who Was that Man?, earned him fans the world over as it reached #5 on the FAR Chart and the Alternate Roots Chart, while also hitting #8 on the Euro Americana Chart. With Tokyo’s recent performances at Austin’s South By Southwest (SXSW) Festival, the Edmonton Fringe Festival, and the World Music United Festival, he’s gaining quite a reputation for crafting Americana with real teeth in the lyrics.

This show presented by Dr. Molly Burgoyne and Dr. Earl Brian..
