This is our first Avalon Jazz Club event this year and will be held on Saturday, April 30th in the Avalon Theatre. The evening will begin at 6 pm with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and with signature drinks created by St. Michaels-based Lyon’s Distilling in honor of the Theatre’s 100th year. At 7pm, The Baylor Project will take the stage. All-inclusive tickets are $80 each and only 130 are available for this performance. (We will have cabaret table seating available on the main floor and mezzanine seats available on the second floor.)

Their latest album “Generations” has earned the Baylor Project their fourth Grammy nomination and their first NAACP Image Award win for Outstanding Jazz Album-Vocal. In addition to becoming the #1 jazz vocal album on the JazzWeek radio charts, “Generation’s” standout song, “We Swing (The Cypher),” was included among NPR Music’s 100 Best Songs of 2021.
