It’s safe to say that the Avalon Theatre and jazz have grown up together. The Avalon is celebrating its 100th birthday this year while the first-ever jazz recording was made in 1917.
Because the Avalon has been presenting jazz for the entirety of its history, the Jeff Antoniuk Trio invites you to celebrate an evening of this great American music with them in the Avalon’s Stoltz Listening Room!
Following the history of jazz from 1920’s Duke Ellington up to songs written just last month, the Jeff Antoniuk Trio has something for everyone. They’re masters of a musical form that is at once historical and classic, but also current, vibrant and evolving.
These celebrated performers, recording artists, and jazz professors are excited to be back at the Avalon, and they have a great program ready for you.
