From the team that brought Stage Fright to the Avalon Stage, comes this exciting one-night-only Murder Mystery at the pop-up dry bar The Wagon.
Come dressed in your best 1920s attire, bring your friends, and get ready to solve a murder. Characters from Stage Fright may also make an appearance.
This will be an *interactive* event. All guests will be assigned a specific character role that may or may not know important details about the recently deceased. It will be up to all the attendees to figure out “who dunnit” before the cops show up and cut the party short.
There will be a brief time to explain how the night will work and give you time to learn about your character, and then the fun will truly begin!
The dry bar will be open during the event, keeping you refreshed with your favorite zero-proof mocktails, canned zero ABV beers, and bar snacks.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a dinner. Only mocktails, ABV beer, and bar snacks are available for purchase.
*The Wagon is a pop-up bar concept designed for The Avalon’s corner property with a special twist - there is NO alcohol here. Taking inspiration from Dry January, this dry bar will feature mocktails and drinks that ask guests to simply savor the moment.
*This pop-up bar and murder mystery event are a couple of the many ways the Avalon foundation is experimenting, listening to the community, and being thoughtful about the future of the Avalon Corner as well as our long-term stewardship of the entire building.
